IQ Group Fireworks Night 2019

This year's Fireworks night at the Architectural Glass Showroom

The annual IQ Group Fireworks night took place in the evening of the 5th of November to commemorate Guy Fawkes Night. During the evening we held a raffle in aid of the Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity. The funds raised during these events help to fund specialist children’s nurses in communities across the UK.

The Fireworks were set off behind the Keller minimal windows^® glass box showroom in the courtyard. Our Commercial Sales Director was in charge of the fireworks display while we all watched through the frameless glass box extension in the showroom. The IQ Glass showroom in Amersham features a structural glass box extension constructed from frameless glass panes and structural glass beams and fins to support the roof and wall glazing.

The frameless glazing of this glass extension creates an incredible indoor-outdoor living appearance. During the evening it started to rain slightly, however, we were still able to enjoy the fireworks display through the glass extension without getting wet and cold outdoors. The fireworks were watched from indoors through the structural glass roof, where we all enjoyed a glass of mulled wine, hot chocolate and biscuits.
