IQ Glass has launched Invisio+, the next evolution of its award-winning Invisio structural glass fixing system. Designed to accommodate deeper glass units, the new system enables triple glazing and advanced glass configurations for high-specification projects.

Developed in-house by IQ Glass, Invisio+ advances the original Invisio range with improved thermal performance, greater specification flexibility and a fully tested approach to large-scale frameless structural glazing.

Invisio+ is a thermally broken structural glazing fixing system designed to support triple-glazed structural glass at architectural scale. The value of Invisio+ lies in the engineered fixing system behind the glass, allowing large-format structural glazing to be installed with no visible framing, capping or supporting structure.

Structural glass has become one of the defining features of contemporary architecture, creating transparent façades, panoramic picture windows, frameless glass walls, eaves glazing and glass links between spaces. By eliminating visible framing, it allows architecture to be defined by light, proportion and uninterrupted views.

The Fixing System Behind Invisio+

The fixing profile is fully concealed within the surrounding building finishes, allowing the completed installation to appear as continuous glass. A thermal break is integrated directly within the fixing, reducing thermal bridging at one of the most critical junctions in the glazing assembly while helping to maintain long-term thermal performance.

Exclusively available through IQ Glass, Invisio+ combines architectural freedom with verified thermal and structural performance, enabling ambitious frameless designs without compromising performance, buildability or long-term reliability.

The Invisio+ profile has been designed to accommodate deeper glass units, enabling the inclusion of triple glazing and advanced glass configurations for projects with demanding thermal, acoustic and environmental performance requirements.

When used with a Ug 0.7 W/m²K triple-glazed unit, Invisio+ achieves a verified Uw value of 0.5895 W/m²K, tested on an assembly measuring 3 metres by 6 metres. Testing at this scale reflects the real demands of contemporary architecture, where large-format glazed elevations are increasingly specified across residential, commercial and public-sector projects.

The system is capable of supporting 6-metre-tall structural glass panels with no internal mullions, enabling uninterrupted glazing with the clean, minimalist detailing that defines frameless architectural design. With the fixing system concealed within the surrounding building fabric, the façade reads externally as a seamless expanse of glass with no visible supporting structure.

Invisio+ has been developed with long-term durability, serviceability and maintenance efficiency in mind. A key feature of the system is full glass removability, allowing individual glass panels to be replaced independently of the primary fixing system.
