Two IQ Glass Projects Shortlisted for AJ Retrofit & Reuse Awards 2025

Queens Park Award

We’re thrilled to announce that two of our outstanding projects, Bank Barn and Queen’s Park, have been shortlisted for the prestigious AJ Retrofit & Reuse Awards 2025 in the Private/individual renovation (£800,000 and over) category. Each project showcases sensitive reuse of existing fabric alongside advanced glazing by IQ Glass.

Bank Barn – Gagarin Studio

This Grade‑II listed field barn is now a light‑filled home. Gagarin Studio inserted a new structural core that leaves the original stone walls intact, carving out double‑height volumes and long sight‑lines to the surrounding moorland. High‑performance frameless glazing floods the interior with daylight while maintaining the barn’s weathered exterior.

Queen’s Park House – Carver Farshi

This refurbishment re‑energises a Victorian terrace. The design stitches in expansive three‑track minimal‑windows® sliders, slimline bifold doors, a pivot entrance and a large frameless roof‑light, creating seamless garden connections and naturally lit living spaces, all while respecting the original brickwork.

Queen's Park Award

The AJ Retrofit & Reuse Awards champion design excellence in breathing new life into existing buildings. Winners will be announced on 10 September 2025 at The Brewery, London.
