Five distinctive pinnacle designs featuring IQ architectural glazing have been shortlisted for RIBA’s South and East Midlands Awards 2023. Each project chosen for its design merits that embrace sustainable and inclusive design.

RIBA’s annual regional awards celebrates the finest architectural designs. This year, IQ Glass has been involved in no less that five projects spanning the South and the East Midlands region.

RIBA Awards Shortlist (South)

Black House Barn by Robin Lee Architecture was thoughtfully restored with large-scale glazed openings and flush threshold that connects the historic property to the outdoors.

Claywood House by Ayre Chamberlain once featured on Grand Designs television as an exemplary low carbon, wheel chair friendly new build home designed with its occupants in mind to enhance independent living is shortlisted once again in the South region.

Made of Sand by Studio Weave combines natural timber with glass to create an airy and welcoming space that the art loving family can feel inspired to get creative whilst feeling connected to the rural landscape.

RIBA Awards Shortlist (East Midlands)

Kingsfield Road by Jonathan Hendry Architects made it to the shortlist for the East Midlands region and feature an entire internal glazed MIRO door system.

Coast House by Hudson Architects is shortlisted for its single storey one of a kind Norfolk coast home with an impressive full scale sliding glass door system with open corner configuration that pulls the outside in.
