Barrowgate Road Shortlisted for The Design Awards 2025

We’re pleased to share that our Barrowgate Road project has been shortlisted for The Design Awards 2025 by design et al in the category Interior Design Scheme – London. The glazing package by IQ Glass is central to the scheme, bringing contemporary performance and clarity to a refurbished Victorian home while respecting its original character.

At the new rear extension, a three-pane, minimally framed sliding door set with sightlines from 21 mm establishes a seamless connection to the garden. A flush, barrier-free threshold delivers effortless movement and continuous floor finishes, and the polyester powder-coated black aluminium profiles align with the home’s slim steel-framed internal doors for a disciplined, unified aesthetic.

Above, frameless structural rooflights draw generous daylight deep into the plan and open up clear sky views, reinforcing the project’s calm, neutral palette. Internally, steel-framed glass doors carry that light through the ground floor, ensuring the glazing remains the driving force for both the look and the liveability of the space.
