Bespoke glazing package in Warwickshire new build

The Midlands & North division of IQ Glass provided a bespoke glazing package for this contemporary new build in Warwickshire. The regional division worked with the architects and technical designers to create a glazing package that paired contemporary glazing and modern performance values.

A highly glazed design was achieved with the bespoke glazing package in Warwickshire and IQ utilised a number of glazing systems that could provide an oversized finish, including slim framed sliding glass doors and various structural glazing solutions. The structural glazing system, Invisio, was used to create a double-height lightwell which flooded the internal living space with natural light whilst adding a modern touch to the exterior design.

high security aluminium entrance door was specified within the modern entrance design, with a fixed glass screen and shaped glazing allowing even more light into the entrance design. The entrance door from our Sieger range enhances the security of the dwelling, with modern performance values and a contemporary finish. Entrance doors from the Sieger range are best when paired with fixed side or toplights, allowing the homeowners to see out and creating light, airy entrances.

Slim framed sliding door systems were used in two and three pane configurations, to maximise the natural light and allow indoor and outdoor environments to be fully merged. The bespoke glazing package in Warwickshire was designed with indoor-outdoor living in mind and the ultra-slim glass door systems are complete with flush threshold details for a seamless transition.

Slim framed casement windows were specified alongside the large sliding door systems to maintain the highly glazed design, with similar slim aluminium profiles. A glass casement door was also utilised within the bespoke glazing package in Warwickshire to create a cohesive design across the wider building envelope and maximise the amount of light and views that can pass through the glazing.

Thermally broken structural glazing was used for the double height lightwell and all aluminium glazing systems within the bespoke glazing package in Warwickshire were fully thermally broken, resulting in impressive Uw values and comfortable living temperatures all year round. The luxury new build benefits hugely from the glazing package, which has been tailored to suit the project's individual requirements.
