Aluminium Bi Fold Doors

The 4 pane and 5 pane aluminium bi fold doors were designed and installed on two elevations of the traditional home. When they are opened the two elevations exaggerate the effect of indoor-outdoor design which is popular in modern residential architecture.

By removing the large glass elevations and opening the glazed aluminium bifold doors open, coupled with a flush base track inside to out, the internal living spaces easily merge with the outside, extending living spaces in the warmer months.

The two elevations feature aluminium bifold doors with stainless steel ironmongery and square aluminium framing for a contemporary minimal design finish.

The aluminium bi-folding doors provide additional living spaces for this home with the sense of space and openness, allowing the doors to effectively push back two entire walls for the indoor-outdoor living experience whilst providing primary access to the garden.

When the aluminium bifold doors are closed the square aluminium frame connections together and seal effectively for full weather protection.

The contemporary rear refurbishment adds value to the property creating a more functional layout to the ground floor of the property, which is more suited to modern living styles. The bi folding doors maximise the amount of natural light entering the dining area creating a brighter, light-filled living environment.

The slim framed doors connect the inside and outside living spaces seamlessly, completely transforming this traditional home in Rickmansworth. The renovation increases the usable living space and adapting the traditional home.

The aluminium bi-fold door system is one of the slimmest framed bi fold doors IQ offer with only a 120mm sightline, making it perfect for a relatively small opening.

Each panel of the bi-fold doors can be up to 3m high and 1.2m wide, numerous configurations can be applied making this modern patio door system very appealing.
