House Renovation with Modern Aluminium Windows and Doors

This modern house renovation in Chalfont St Giles, within the green Buckinghamshire, was given a modern uplift with IQ’s contemporary aluminium windows and doors.

The brick house used aluminium windows and doors throughout the renovation and extension with included new single storey rear extensions to either side of the house, a central double storey rear extension and a loft conversion.

Within the two single storey extensions to the rear a new open plan kitchen dinner was created, as well as a home gym.

The ground floor areas used IQ’s slim framed sliding glass doors - minimal windows - to open up the new open plan living areas to the large rear gardens.

Three sets of these minimally framed sliding patio doors were used, flooding the internal areas with light and, with their 21mm framing and flush floor finishes, disintegrating that barrier between inside and outside.

 

To the home gym area on the other side of the house, modern aluminium bi folding doors and large aluminium windows were used. When the three-pane bifold door installation is open the gym is opened up to the pool area, creating a modern exercise a leisure facility for the whole family.

On the upper floors of the renovation and loft conversion, aluminium windows were used to continue the modern design of the lower floors. Aluminium casement doors with a frameless externally fixed balustrade were also used to create a Juliette Balcony to the rear master bedroom.
