2018 has been an exciting year for IQ® Glass with many award-winning products and projects, as well as new product developments and new installations in the showroom. Take a look below for some of our most exciting advances throughout 2018 as well as a taster of what to expect in 2019!

minimal windows® latest product updates
The minimal windows® sliding door system is the premier solution for large sliding doors that offer an impressively slim frame. IQ has been the exclusive UK partner for minimal windows® for many years and are proud to announce this partnership has been extended for a further 3 years!
We have recently launched a selection of product updates, all designed to offer flexibility in design whilst maintaining the outstanding performance and beauty of this sliding door system.
New External Key Lock
We now have the ability to install an external key lock into the vertical stile on the lead sliding door pane. This lock is accessible from both the internal and external faces of the sliding door, allowing for key lock access from either side.
Multi Corner Slider
It's now possible to create 'multi-corner sliders' which allows us to create a 90-degree corner connection from the glass between the outside and outside of the property. With the new updates the sliding doors slide away from the building fabric, ensuring points of travel are possible across all tracks. See the below diagram for further explanation:
Read more about these updates here.
Sieger® Balustrade System
This year we launched the brand new Sieger® Balustrade System. This balustrade system is suitable for installation in an array of buildings and locations including internally and externally; including landings, stairwells and balconies. Toughened laminated glass is used for the balustrade system with a minimalistic continuous handrail for a flowing design. See these balustrades in our showroom.
Apertio Glass Entrance Door
The Apertio Glass is a luxury entrance door which is part of our brand-new range of IQ Ingresso entrance doors. Manufactured from high specification materials, the Apertio Glass combines modern luxury finishes with integral strength to create a striking entrance feature. Outstanding sizes are available with this entrance door, maximum sizes stretch all the way up to 3200mm wide x 6000mm tall.
Apertio Solid Entrance Door
This beautifully modern entrance door can be designed with various finishes including timber, lacquered glass, ceramic, metallic panels and bespoke designs; the internal finish can even be different from the outside. This pivoting door is designed to sit flush with the wall and floor finishes to create a seamless design, - See the Apertio Solid in our showroom in 2019!
Timber Finishes for ADL
The use of natural materials is becoming popular in glazing due to the trends of Hygge, Biophilic Design and Swedish Minimalism. Timber finishes are now available for use on the ADL internal door system.
Mondrian® Internal Box
This year we installed an internal Mondrian® steel framed box that features modern internal sliding doors and fixed Mondrian® steel-framed walls. The elegant steel profiles provide a modern Art Deco design perfect for high-end and luxury developments.
WAREMA External Blinds
This year we installed WAREMA External Venetian Blinds to the IQ Glass showroom to an external face of IQ Structural Glass. These blinds are an outstanding option for solar protection with a minimalistic finish. They are available in a plethora of colours and slat options (including dim-out slats and beaded slats).
