IQ Glass recently completed the glazing works to one of the exclusive homes on the Lakes by Yoo luxury Cotswolds development that has now been decorated by Kate Moss Interior Design.
The house itself is set in an acre of private woodland and was designed by HWO architects. IQ Glass designed and manufactured the large, double height glass elevations within the gable end of the property, using frameless structural glass and our slim framed sliding glass doors.
By combining both of these extremely minimal glazing solutions together IQ Glass were able to create an impressive double height glass façade with opening doors within its elevation, all with a contemporary and slim framed finish.

We also created the ‘full length retractable windows’ that were used for the snug space, allowing the internal seating area to flow out into the Cotswolds scenery surrounding the private house.
Now that IQ and HWO had designed a large, light filled home Kate Moss took on the home as a prototype project for her interior design company.
Her ‘eclectic taste’ was preferred by the developer of the scheme who wanted to create a unique, luxurious home. The majority of the developments in Lakes by Yoo are valued at anywhere between £1 million and £4 million and are aimed at the super rich or wealthy looking for a weekend or holiday retreat in the country.
As such all finishes and designs within the homes have to be of an impeccable standard, Kate Moss herself is said to have spent 6 months curating the interiors for the new ‘Barnhouse’ design.
