IQ feature in 3 shortlisted AJ Retrofit Awards, 2023 for House and listed building renovation

A two-storey timber annexe addition was made to a stone cottage in Devon as a modern family and artists retreat. Our structural glass windows in this listed building renovation beautifully frames the surrounding mature gardens, offering a tranquil aspect to the outdoors connecting to nature.

The oversized structural glass window is the prominent feature which offsets the beautiful warm hue of timber cladding and panels inside the space.

Hunts Green Barn, by McLaren Excell

House over £500k

A sympathetic restoration of a neglected 16th Century barn in Oxfordshire features IQ Glass’s slim framed sliding door and windows, connecting the barn to its original architectural vernacular, this understated barn restoration breathes new life thanks to the structural glass that brightens up the space, accommodating 21st Century living. The high performance slim framed sliding doors and windows are thermally broken, contributing to the insulation of the property.

A garage conversion of a mews house in Belsize Park was reconfigured to form a minimalistic, yet warm haven. Tactile textures and subtle, yet statuesque accents of beauty are found throughout this family home.

The piece de resistance being IQ Glass’s floor to ceiling frameless glass Pivot door allows unimpeded access to the outdoor courtyard which floods the former basement space with an abundance of natural light and ventilation creating a serene and comfortable environment.
