This town house in Chelsea, Cheyne Row, underwent a contemporary renovation where the property was stripped back to its shell. Architectural glazing by IQ Glass was used throughout the London home to ensure bright, light-filled open plan living spaces maximising the natural light into the new basement extension.
Double height structural glazing from the basement to the first floor created a structural glass light well, helping to maximise daylight into the basement living area. Slim frame sliding glass doors, frameless glass balustrades and a large Vitra pivot were also installed onto this renovation. The sliding glass doors used open away from the corner, sliding into a wall cavity creating access to the small courtyard area.
