Get The Look: Ashford Mill

IQ installed steel doors to a listed corn mill located in Ashford, Peak District. The corn mill dates back to before 1043 AD and was formally owned by the Duke of Devonshire until the 1950s.

The homeowners have spent the past seven years consulting with the Peak District National Park Planners to restore the beautiful building and to carry out a conversion to residential use.

Secco OS2 steel doors have been installed with an arched head to the grade II listed mill. The slim frame profile doors provide an industrial design with high levels of insulation with thermally broken frames.

The master bedroom features a large glass floor, maximising the natural light influx into the internal bedroom. A perfect way to add in daylight to a room with no external windows.
