This project is a brilliant example of the versatility of the Keller minimal windows sliding door system. The aluminium framing profiles, manufactured by Keller in Luxembourg, can be designed to fit in with the space available on a project.
On this traditional brick house there wasn’t the opening space available for multiple panels, there was no space in the wall to create an internal cavity for the windows to slide. The framing carries on to the external face of the brick finish, fixed to the masonry, allowing the Keller minimal windows to slide and sit on the external face of the building and therefore opening up the whole opening from the living space to the garden.
The frames here were designed to protrude slightly from the building making a further feature of these Keller minimal windows.
