Architectural glazing projects on London’s prestigious Home Park Road

Windows and architectural glazing to multiple residences overlooking Wimbledon Park

Our recent projects on Home Park Road in Wimbledon showcase our capabilities in transforming spaces with exceptional glazing installations.  

 The first windows and glazing installation on Home Park Road sees a luxury new build designed by HLA on a large plot taking full advantage of the magnificent vistas with ultra wide slim sliding glass pocket doors to the rear elevation that disappear into the walls creating a large aperture with seamless transitions to the patio and garden.  

The multiple storey property includes a basement so the use of rooflights helped maintain natural light within the interiors.  

One of the standout features of this project is the wide panels of the sliders, spanning just under 4 metres. This impressive span provides the ultimate minimal finish, enhancing the sense of openness and connection within the space. The kitchen and dining areas benefit from this design, offering easy accessibility over flush thresholds of the sliding glass doors. 

Another notable Wimbledon glazing project on Home Park Road, also design by HLA, features expansive glazing by IQ. This second substantial home uses structural glazing and oversized slim framed sliding glass doors. Structural glass rooflights allowed natural light to cascade through all levels of the four-storey property built on a sloping site. 

A recent contemporary Wimbledon glazing project uses full automation to support all the moving glazing and shading elements to the modern extension of a Wimbledon home.  

This automation allows for seamless control of the opening and closing elements, adding a layer of convenience and sophistication to the home. The use of automated glazing is typically integrated on projects with oversized glazing elevations, where moveable panes exceed 400kg. In this case, cutting edge whole home automation was a key aspect of the clients brief.  

Multiples set of minimal windows sliding glass doors over multiple levels were installed to this substantial refurbished London glazing project. 

The modern and minimal design was further elevated using automation to control the opening and closing elements seamlessly. Automated glazing is typically integrated for oversized glazing elevations more than 400kg per moveable pane. 

 Many of the properties on Home Park Road are situated on a sloping site, so using slim profile floor to ceiling sliding glass doors allows for easy access to the outside from each level across the flushest of thresholds.
