3rd Phase of Victoria Road’s London Installation Complete

Internal glazing to London luxury home.

The IQ team were recently back on site in London at Victoria Road to complete the third phase of the glazing works.

The third stage included steel framed internal doors that pivot to open and allow access into the living area. The doors are single glazed due to minimal need of thermal performance. Powder coating has been employed to create a bronze finish that matches the bronze-coloured pressings around the door openings. Doors similar to these are often specified and installed in commercial projects, however they can easily be adapted for residential projects to provide a more traditional steel look.

The 1st and 2nd phase of the project focused on a vast basement extension that has provided space for a home gym, bespoke cinema and bar area. The walk-on structural glass floor added to the double-height London basement extension immediately makes an impression and expands the impression of space. Overlooking the glazed basement, the structural glass floor functions as a lightwell, letting in natural light throughout the day and minimising the amount of energy needed to light the area.

The project is now fully complete!
