Cosy Window Seats for Kitchen Extensions
Victoria Park Road was recently featured by Houzz in a post discussing different ways to incorporate a window seat into a rear extension.
IQ Glass provided two corner-joining steel-framed picture windows to this modern side infill extension. This not only maximised the connection between the kitchen and the garden but also lent itself to the design of a cosy seating area with an internal window seat.
The design was further enhanced by the addition of an external bench seat that runs perpendicular to its interior counterpart. The result is a clean, angular profile, with the dark grey window frames contrasting against the light brick façade and paler hues of the internal design.
