IQ Glass was recently featured in Time & Leisure magazine when they ran an article about transforming the home with clever use of glazing. Two of our luxury home projects were featured, showing both internal and external slim framed sliding door systems. Expert comment from IQ was also printed, discussing how an Oriel window box can create a unique exterior design whilst offering a cosy internal living space.
The first project that was featured was Watermill House, where IQ designed and installed slim framed steel siding doors to create zones within the internal living spaces. The sliding doors are biparting and have incorporated glazing bars into the design for a modern industrial aesthetic. The steel internal doors allow natural light to flow through the home, as well as granting views through the unique layout, whilst offering the ability to section off areas of the home when needed.
The second project featured was Kingston Road, where ultra-slim aluminium sliders created an oversized glazing look. The double-height installation floods the open plan home with natural light, as well as providing step-free travel between the inside and outside thanks to the flush threshold detail. These doors truly transformed the terraced home, by introducing an indoor-outdoor style of living for the homeowners and adding a touch of luxury.
