Stunning Glass Extension Ideas

Warm an inviting glazed extensions are suitable for all year round if they are designed well. There are many different glazed extension configurations to create a bespoke extension tailored towards the requirements of each project. Glass Box Extensions can be designed with integrated glazing systems (such as slim framed sliding doors) to create an opening element to the design.

Structural glazing was installed to Green Barn, which featured on page 89 of the September issue of Homebuilding & Renovating. A glass link designed and installed to connect the existing barn to the new glazed extension. Frameless glass was used to connect these two spaces for a seamless aesthetic.

Green Barn was mentioned as a 'continuation space' as the glazing allows the internal living spaces to be elegantly extended with minimal interruption to the original aesthetic of the property. "This sunroom by IQ Glass features a glass link that connects it to the main house creating one continuous space between the two rooms".
