Living etc recently wrote a piece surrounding glazing, glazing performance and how to achieve the best results without compromising on design. They came to IQ Glass for recommendations and expert advice on the matter, speaking to Emma Greene, one of our associate directors who has years of knowledge and experience in the glazing industry.
One of the key factors to consider is performance, particularly now as performance requirements are set to become stricter in the years to come. Double and triple glazed systems can deliver exceptionally high thermal performances, whilst acoustic sound reducing glass can reduce noise transmission by approximately 10 decibels.
Another important factor to consider when specifying glazing systems is the installation. You should always seek the help of a professional glazing installer to ensure the systems are installed correctly and to eliminate the risk of incorrect installations causing the performance of the systems to be compromised.
You can read the full article here or get in touch with the team today to discuss the requirements for your next project.
