IQ’s Glass Box Extension Featured in Houzz’s Guide to Extensions

IQ Glass were recently featured in a Houzz article which explored the benefits of a glass box extension. In one of London’s most exclusive areas, the project aimed to bring the modern design aesthetic of the glass box extension to a more traditional property.

The glass extension on Bishops Avenue made use of frameless glazing to maximise the natural feeling of the property. With the simplistic design of frameless glazing being a key reason for its popularity, it effortlessly connected inside to the outdoors, rejuvenating the property.

This project featured solar control glass to combat overheating of the property, whilst maintaining the contemporary ‘all glass’ style. This solution offers a range of different solar control coatings which reduce increased heat levels and allow for a comfortable internal environment all year round.
