Inspiration for modern extensions

Dalston House Featured

Dalston House was featured in a Real Homes online article ‘modern extension ideas: 8 contemporary extension ideas’. The extension to Dalston House creates a bright room filled with natural light due to the highly glazed installation. Architects HUT designed this glass extension to create a new living space which was not only full of natural light but also helped to increase light within the existing property.

The feature mentions how the homeowners of this property wanted a minimal but not a minimalistic look to the extension, therefore only a few materials and colours were used to simplify the architectural design. All the aluminium glazing systems were powder-coated in the same finish and RAL colour as the aluminium pressing surrounding the structural glazing to create a cohesive design.
