IQ Glass's project Dalston House was featured in the 'Here Comes the Sun' article in Self Build and Design (July 2019 issue). All homeowners have the desire to increase the amount of natural light within their home as it creates a more welcoming and vibrant living space. Natural light has also been proven to lift our spirits; therefore, it is a highly desirable aspect of a living environment.

"Roof glazing is an ideal way to solve the problem of gaining additional natural light where windows would be either impossible to position or would not be permitted by planning officers". Roof glazing was installed to Dalston House to provide a drastic influx of natural light into a contemporary extension at the rear of the property. The glazing not only increases the light in the extension but also flows through to the existing living spaces.

The feature then goes on to discuss the latest glazing and framing technology and innovative designs. To read the full feature, pick up a copy of the July edition of the Self Build and Design magazine.
