Grand Designs February 2022 Features IQ Glass projects!

Two of our completed projects were featured in the February issue.
The February issue of Grand Designs features two of our completed projects, the first being an expansive contemporary home in Cambridgeshire. The modern new build features floor to ceiling glass walls that fill gable end structures and slim framed glass door systems for a coherent design.
The same finished floor level is used inside and outside the home, making the oversized glass walls seem almost invisible to the naked eye. The use of frameless glass enhances the zinc roof structure and creates a contrast between the building material to create a completely unique exterior design.
Our Netherford Road home extension project was also featured in this month's issue, in a feature that explored glass door systems to enhance the home. This project utilised thermally broken steel systems to create a double hinged opening, finished in a stunning olive green colour (RAL 7009). Inspired by botanical gardens, the greenhouse-style extension benefits from enhanced thermal performance thanks to the high performing steel glazing systems from the Mondrian range.
