IQ Glass’s new build house project was featured in the October edition of Build It magazine. The article talks about the key elements of the design process and building a long-term house that can last a lifetime.
Our highly glazed new build house project in Somerset is used as an example project to show how sustainable houses should be built whilst respecting the surrounding wildlife.
Sanctuary House is designed by Barc Architects. The architect brought together our high-end frameless architectural glazing and natural materials like stone cladding, larch, zinc, and porcelain tiles and lime renders.
Our fully thermally broken glazing created a well-insulated sustainable and energy-efficient house for homeowners. The flush threshold detailing of our slimmest sliding glass doors provided wheelchair accessible connections all around the house.
