Following Up On Rusty House

Riverside Home Featured in Grand Designs Magazine

After the episode detailing the riverside new build aired on Grand Designs in 2015, the magazine has followed up 5 years later with an editorial piece.

The article explains how working with the right people to produce a high quality build is the key component when considering a new build project. IQ Glass specialise in structural glazing, making the design and installation process seamless thanks to years of hands-on experience.

The Rusty House project used weathered steel elements to blend with its natural surroundings and unfortunately there was a delay when shipping the steel from Spain. The steel components were delivered late, pausing the project for a short time.

IQ’s installation of architectural glazing ran smoothly, without a hitch, helping the rustic build to blend in with its surroundings whilst making the most of the riverside views. The highly glazed design allows tones of natural light to flood the internal living spaces, enabling the homeowners to enjoy uninterrupted views of the nature reserve.
