Choosing Windows and Doors

IQ Glass featured in the June ‘choosing windows and doors’ supplement in Build IT magazine 2018 showing how a Mondrian ^® internal door can transform and interior space. The Mondrian ^® Internal sliding door was installed to this property to create a separation between the home office and living space. This industrial internal design creates a stylish door that features thin steel frames to allow light to continue throughout the building even when the sliding doors are closed.

Rebecca Clayton, from IQ, answered frequently asked questions about door design in the article which asked ‘What are the main considerations for choosing glazed doors?’, ‘Do pivoting systems present more challenges than other designs?’ and ‘How can homeowners ensure their doors are watertight?’.

Rebecca Clayton advised, “Before you decide what type of product to install, you’ll need to think about the size of the opening available and how you’ll be using the room it’s in.” There are so many choices available that it is important you narrow down your option by deciding upon the best type of systems for the specific space and usage of the system.
