Site-Specific Challenges
The installation required careful alignment of multiple systems, one of the most demanding aspects of this Curved sliding doors in Edinburgh project. The connection between the curved minimal windows system and the adjoining Sieger systems required exact precision. Each junction had to be engineered and installed with millimetre accuracy to achieve the seamless, minimal finish expected from high-performance custom glazing in Edinburgh. Despite the technical complexity, the installation team ensured that every system was perfectly aligned, resulting in flawless operation and a cohesive appearance.
Architectural Detailing
The extensive glazing surrounding the kitchen and dining area allows the entire garden to be overlooked while filling the interior with Scottish sunlight. This continuous expanse of glass is a hallmark of curved sliding doors in Edinburgh, where design meets performance to create bright, open living spaces.
A smaller fixed casement window in the living room introduces subtle daylight, while one of the most striking elements is an ultra-slim fixed window measuring just 326mm wide by 2564mm high. Despite its narrow dimensions, this slender pane plays an essential role in maintaining the sleek architectural line while allowing natural light to flow from the front of the property through to the main living areas. Such precision and balance perfectly embody the philosophy behind custom made glazing, refined, functional, and beautifully executed.
