Rhodes House has been shortlisted for the Civic Trust Awards 2026, recognising the sensitive transformation of the Grade II listed home of the Rhodes Trust in Oxford.
As part of the wider refurbishment with Stanton Williams, IQ Projects delivered the oversized structural glass pavilion; a 360° glazed garden space designed for scholars and the public, with uninterrupted views across the mature grounds.
The pavilion features 5m-tall low-iron structural glass panels engineered with SGP interlayers and specified with solar control coatings, plus bespoke bronze-finish trims and an automated bi-parting entrance system to help link the contemporary intervention back to the heritage setting.
