Clayworth Cottage - IQ Glass

IQ Glass is delighted to announce that two of our bespoke glazing projects, Mill Hide and Clayworth Cottage, have individually won prestigious RIBA East Awards for 2025.

Mill Hide features a striking 20m² bespoke automated MARS sliding rooflight by IQ Glass. This central rooflight fills the villa’s atrium with natural daylight, providing seamless connectivity to the surrounding RSPB nature reserve. Despite logistical challenges such as limited site access, IQ Glass successfully delivered the precise engineering and automated functionality required by the design.

Clayworth Cottage, designed by ArkleBoyce Architects, received recognition for its accessible design. IQ Glass’s frameless floor-to-ceiling sliding doors and casement windows contribute significantly to the home’s accessibility, providing effortless indoor-outdoor transitions, exceptional views, and superior thermal performance.
