The AJ Retrofit & Reuse Awards celebrate architectural innovative designs that endure. So it’s no surprise that award-winning prestigious London workplace, Grainhouse has been shortlisted for AJ Retrofit Awards 2024 under the saved from demolition category.
The complex commercial development designed by Barr Gazetas commissioned IQ Projects to design and supply a substantial bespoke glazing package to this former Victorian seed house in London’s Covent Garden owned by Hines, maximising natural light while adding timeless glamour referencing its Victorian era with custom steel framed fire rated glass doors, curtain walling and windows throughout the five-storey overlapping and uneven building.
Winners to be announced at the ceremony on 11th September at London’s The Brewery venue.
