The renovation of Grainhouse has led to it being crowned the “Best Workplace in London” as part of the BCO Awards.
In order to maximise natural light and add timeless splendour while nodding to its Victorian past, Hines, the owner of Grainhouse, a former Victorian seed house in London's Covent Garden, commissioned IQ Projects to design and provide a large bespoke glazing solution.
This five-story, over 90,000-square-foot mixed-use construction needed close attention to detail because every level and elevation was practically uneven. With sustainability at the forefront of the project, architects Barr Gazetas created every component of the fit out to create an authentically inspiring workplace.

The British Council for Offices host yearly awards celebrating the ever-evolving workplaces in Britain. As part of the Corporate Workplace Award, Grainhouse picked up the Number 1 spot for the London region.
