Fir Tree House Shortlisted

Fir Tree House has been shortlisted in the RIBA South East Awards 2019. IQ Glass installed minimal windows sliding doors to this extension project in Sevenoaks which was designed by Crew Architects.

This Grade II listed building was transformed with a new extension which helped to better connect the homeowners with their expansive garden. The next extension included a cantilevered roof where the minimal windows sliding doors met a corner connection. Including a cantilevered roof meant that the homeowners could benefit from a beautifully seamless transition between the home and garden without any interruption from supporting beams.

The winner of the RIBA South East Award will be revealed later on in the year.
