Located in the leafy outskirts of São Paulo, this eccentric new build home breaks the boundaries of open plan living. The project takes the form of a huge box-shaped design, containing the entirety of the ground floor as one sprawling living space with a large mezzanine area overlooking it.
Sustainably sourced timber beams clad the high, dramatic ceiling with rich brown hues, while paler wooden slats create a smooth, bright floor that extends the length of the central room with its seating spaces dotted throughout. To each end of the huge tube-like design, minimal sliding glass doors create extensive glazed elevations that allow natural light to flood the space.
