This four-bedroom house in Weybridge, Surrey recently underwent a vast renovation project to extend the rear of the property out into the garden.
Soup Architects designed the new rear extension to create a stronger connection between the home and garden, which was previously poorly connected.
During this project, the rear garden received a whole new landscaping design, including an extensive planting scheme – all designed to help connect the homeowners further with their garden.
The homeowners created a luxury furniture arrangement from Cane-line furniture (available from IQ Furniture).
Oatlands Close has won several prestigious awards due to the incredible architecture design. These awards include the RIBA South East Awards 2018 and the British Homes Award 2018!
IQ Glass installed minimal windows® sliding glass doors to this project to enhance the architects aim to connect the homeowners further with their outdoor living space.
As these sliding doors have beautifully minimalistic sightlines and the outer frame can be hidden within the cavity of the walls they accentuate the indoor-outdoor living environment.
Soup architects also designed structural glass windows to be installed alongside the sliding doors to encourage more natural light within the rear extension and so the homeowners can feel a stronger connection to their garden when relaxing in their new living room.
