Architectural Patio Roof

This architectural patio roof design provides the ultimate indoor outdoor living experience using a louvre patio roof. The automated louvre roof sits over the large patio area jointly supported by the building, extending leg columns and with a vertical timber louvre partition.

With architectural extending support columns, the large louvre roof provides a contemporary outdoor seating area with an architectural design finish to the property.

The louvre roof has an integrated drainage system enabling the rain water collected by the aluminium louvres to drain off through the roof profile and down the supporting columns. Therefore the extending legs allow the rain water to drain onto a more permeable ground.

Indoor-outdoor living is the perfect way to extend living spaces increasing the square foot of the property. The watertight roof enables the space to be used all year long throughout all seasons.

The Umbris louvre roof provides automated shading also helping to shade the internal living spaces with is a great solution when the property has a large elevation of glazing.

This Umbris patio roof has included rain sensors into the automation. The louvres close flat if it starts to rain protecting the outdoor living space, all the time. External heaters also help make the living space more useable as well as lighting. Additionally, a small timber louvre partition provides support to the Umbris roof as well as adding to the design aesthetics.
