Contemporary Renovation Using Glass Sliding Doors and Windows

A contemporary renovation took place in this home in Tunbridge Wells where new glass sliding doors and windows were installed. These glass sliding doors and slim framed sliding windows have been placed on both floors of the home drawing in light and exaggerating the magnificent views.

The glass sliding doors used in this renovation have all been installed across the entire ground floor of the home, allowing easy access into multiple rooms including an indoor pool, a home gym, a bedroom and a living area. On the second floor, slim framed sliding windows have been used and glass balustrades have been integrated within the opening to create fantastically frameless Juliet balconies.

By using these glass sliding doors and slim framed sliding windows throughout the house, the home can be naturally lit during the day as well as being well ventilated.

The use of these doors on the first floor has also provided easy access to the patio and garden as well as creating an indoor-outdoor living experience.

The slim framing of IQ’s glass sliding doors also provides the home with perfect views of the surrounding grounds without any frame obstruction.

Frameless glass balustrades have been used on the upper level of this home to create a clear yet strong safety barrier for the slim framed sliding windows.

Using these glass balustrades allows the homeowners to enjoy the views of their surroundings and provide ventilation into the upstairs rooms whilst also providing safety.
