The composite lift and slide door has a timber internal finish in either Spruce or Larch that can be painted or stained to suit any internal design. Externally the PassivHaus door is clad in aluminium for a contemporary and durable external finish.
The external aluminium faces of our Passivhaus sliding doors can be powder coated any RAL colour to suit your design.
These PassivHaus doors have a tested Uw thermal performance of up to 0.73 W/m2K with triple glazed units and are fully certified to PassivHaus standards by the Rosenheim Institute in Germany.
These large format lift and slide doors are designed to be installed at large sizes, with a basic installation of one fixed and one moving glass door able to fill an opening 2.8m high by 5.8m wide.
The sophisticated lift and slide mechanism of our Passivhaus Door system allow the door to be lifted and lowered into the building structure thus creating an impressive weather seal to protect against the elements. As such these composite sliding doors are tested to withstand gale force winds of up to 2000 Pa pressure and driving rain at 600 Pa pressure.
