Minimal steel glazing project featured by House Beautiful

Using internal glazing as a contemporary room divider

Mill Hill Featured by House Beautiful

Mill Hill was recently featured in an online article by House Beautiful, discussing different ways to section off internal living rooms into functional spaces. The feature explores various room divider options that promote the flow of natural light, including the use of minimal internal glazing.

Mill Hill, a contemporary London home renovation, was featured as an example of how to configure internal glass doors for maximum effect. IQ installed steel framed double doors as part of the renovation, creating a broken plan layout that encompasses the kitchen and family living room.

Opting for a steel aesthetic is a great way to add a touch of minimal elegance to a family home. The applied art deco glazing bars create a modern, artisan feel that compliments a huge range of interior designs, while ensuring the internal spaces retain an airy and spacious feel.

Rebecca Clayton, the Marketing Director at IQ, was quoted as she explained that “the advantage of using glass to create divisions between internal spaces is that it does not impact the light moving through a space and keeps the visual design of the room open, even when it is divided”.
