A recent article featured on Houzz examines the different ways homeowners can integrate roof glazing into their homes. From playful circular rooflights, to stunning ceilings made entirely of structural glass – roof glazing can be integrated into all kinds of bespoke designs.

Bishops Avenue, a frameless glass box extension project, was featured as part of the article. Glass box extensions are a hugely popular home renovation option, as they create a bright, open space that enjoys plenty of natural light throughout all hours of the day.

The glazed extension at Bishops Avenue features a large, completely frameless glass roof with a seamless glass-to-glass connection to two glazed walls. Frameless low iron glass beams support the toughened structural glass units overhead, creating a very minimal aesthetic.

Frameless glass roofs really maximise the amount of natural light flooding the living space. They can be integrated into many different designs, including side infill extensions, rear extensions and basement renovations.
