IQ Glass Project Feature

An IQ Glass project based in Brighton was featured in the April issue of Real Homes in an article for ‘Dream Transformation’, with a title of ‘Modern Contrast’. This modern extension with triple glazed sliding glass doors and windows was installed to extend the current kitchen to take advantage of the panoramic views across the open countryside. The previous living space and outdoor courtyard were not used very often due to the separation from the rest of the house and the poor English weather.

“The new extension is designed to be intentionally distinct from the rest of the house, with vast expanses of glazing to maximise views.” IQ’s minimal windows 4+ sliding glass doors were installed with a slim 21mm frame to achieve the requirements from the clients. When opened, these sliding doors provide the necessary amount of access between the spaces and create an indoor-outdoor living experience, allowing the homeowners to use their outdoor courtyard throughout the year.
