i-Build Magazine features IQ Glass Project

Written by Rebecca Clayton

See how slim framed aluminium systems introduce tones of natural light

i-Build magazine recently features one of our projects for their May issue, in a feature surrounding natural light in the home. The renovation projects used aluminium glazing systems from our Sieger range, with slim sightlines to maximise the amount of natural light.

The project, a terraced home, incorporated a slim framed bifolding door, bridging the gap between indoor and outdoor areas. The open plan kitchen dining area is now able to become one large indoor-outdoor living space, simply by sliding the bifolding door system to one side, where it stacks neatly.

To ensure plenty of natural light reaches the other side of the room, roof glazing was specified over the dining area. The bespoke roof glazing features steel supports, to fit in with the surrounding interior design. by adding black accents on both the roof glazing and the bifolding door, a contrast was created against the pastel design of the kitchen.

Aluminium systems are manufactured at the Sieger fabrication factory here in Amersham, where our team of fabricators are equipped to take on new and exciting projects. To read the full article on i-Build and learn how you can transform your space with natural light.
