Ultra slim sliding doors installed to modern London home renovation featured by the Evening Standard

Expansive London home featuring minimally framed glazing systems

This London home was featured in the Evening Standard, showing how multi-functional the renovation allowed the home to be. The tired home was transformed, with clever use of glazing, to create multi-use spaces within the open plan design.

Slim framed sliding door systems work in unison with structural glazing to present a fully glazed rear façade design. The use of these slim sliders grants the ability to merge the indoor and outdoor living spaces, creating one large open space when desired. The purpose of the renovation was not only to expand the useable space but also to use the open-plan layout in a smarter way. Allowing the family to create dedicated zones within the home, the functionality is enhanced with the use of these luxury glazing systems.

The homeowners wanted to extend the space whilst preserving the original heritage of the building. By using slim framed and frameless systems, the glazing allows the building to retain its original charm.

Another feature of the renovation was the annexe created in the garden, complete with a yoga studio. The annexe follows a dark, monochrome exterior design, contrasting the green manicured lawns. The family can now enjoy the open-plan layout of their home, with added functionality.
