Clayworth Cottage features in Grand Designs Magazine for its glass modern inclusive design

A couple's lives were changed for life after the design and construction of their inclusively glazed modernist newbuild in Dunstable, Bedfordshire.

Clayworth Cottage featured on Channel 4's Grand Designs in which building work began during the global pandemic in 2020, only completing in September 2022.  The brief?  The delivery of an inclusive fit-for-purpose newbuild that would provide easy access throughout all living spaces.

Floor to ceiling slim framed sliding glass doors with slim threshold detail allowed for a simple transition, completely wheelchair user-friendly.  The profile of the base track threshold is so slim that it is barely noticeable for wheelchair users to feel any kind of ramp as they travel from the indoor space to the outdoors.
