Blackheath House featured in the Studio Issue 18 Magazine showcasing the 2018 shortlist for the Wood Awards 2018. Within the building's competition, there are five categories: commercial and leisure, education and public sector, interiors, private and small projects."WIDGER architectures 61amr, Blackheath House by Walker Bushe Architects and Kudhva by New British Design have all be selected for the shortlist".

Blackheath House is a luxurious residential property that boasts a wide array of wooden finishes throughout the property alongside large glazing installations. Many wood species were used for this project including English Oak, Danish Oak and English Oak Veneer.

The winners of the Wood Awards 2018 will be announced at the Carpenters Hall on 20th November 2018.
