Digital Marketing Assistant

IQ’s busy and fast paced marketing department are looking to take on a new member of the team to assist with all aspects of our digital B2B marketing activities. The role will be dynamic and include many aspects of online, digital and web-based marketing including online content creation, SEO and graphic design-based activities.  

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in marketing. Full training is provided in house and is well suited to graduates or similar who are looking for their first opportunity in the digital marketing field.  

 The marketing department is at the forefront of everything we do and is a fast paced, demanding, and exciting place to work. We are looking for an all-round digital marketer able to deal with a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment. We would like the new member of the team to hit the ground running so are ideally looking for someone who has a background in marketing or has been studying marketing at university.  

REPORTING TO the Communications Director

As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you will participate in many aspects of our digital marketing strategy, earning a broad range of skills and knowledge that you can use to progress. As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you will;  

  • Create and upload unique online content, optimised for search engines and maximum online visibility to our target audience.  
  • Liaise with web developers to troubleshoot web issues  
  • Prepare, plan, and schedule a range of social media communications across various platforms. 
  • Interact with target audiences on social media platforms to nurture ongoing relationships.  
  • Respond to press requests and create press packages and communications for our contacts.  
  • Assist the team in creating and planning email marketing materials.  
  • Assist in planning and developing and delivering campaigns as agreed within timescales. 
  • Assist the team in the design, development, programming, deployment, project documentation, and other tasks during various client engagements. 
  • Create and distribute internal communications to ensure all depts know the latest news and innovations from the company.  



We’re looking for a passionate marketeer that is keen to start or develop their career in digital marketing.  

You will have a degree or similar level of education in marketing or associated subject. Alternatively, you will have shown your dedication and interest in the subject of marketing in another way.  

You will have excellent written skills and are an effective communicator – both written and verbal. You will also require high levels of computer skills and ability to work with a range of software types including Microsoft 365 packages and Adobe.

Location: Amersham 

Salary: starting from £20,000 PA depending on experience.  

Progression: fast progression possible with unlimited scope for further advancement and further specialisation into the areas of marketing you are most passionate about.  

Contract Type: Permanent 

Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week), 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with 1hr lunch.
