Four IQ Glass projects shortlisted for Wood Awards

Four of IQ Glass's structural glazing projects have been shortlisted in the Wood Awards for their innovative timber architecture. From small residential projects through to commercial and education, IQ Glass is proud to have been part of these amazing projects.

Check out the four exemplary projects shortlisted in the 2023 Wood Awards.

Made of Sand by Studio Weave. An artist's retreat in Axminster, Devon is sympathetically extended combining timber with a large structural glass box cleverly embracing its stunning natural landscape whilst offering  place for its occupants to get creative.

St John’s College new dining room, bar and café, Cambridge by MCW Architects. An engineered oak structure with large automated rooflights forms the new social dining space at St John’s College.

Lea Bridge Library Pavillion by Studio Weave.  A Grade II listed single storey extension breathes new life into the building.  Nature-inspired curved glass follows the shape of the land with mass timber forming the primary structure resulting in a stunning piece of timber and glass architecture. 

Black House Farm by Robin Lee Architecture.  A historic Hampshire farm in South Dowens National Park elegantly reconstructed using timber and glazed links to the historic buildings without taking away from the beauty and heritage of the original buildings.
