Aluminium sliding doors were a key feature within this contemporary new build design, to create a strong connection between the indoor and outdoor living spaces. The minimal windows^® aluminium sliding door was installed in a corner opening configuration with a flush threshold base to provide a seamless transition between these spaces.

Water Meadow has been shortlisted in the Small House of the Year category of The Sunday Times 'British Homes Awards. The project was a new build project that saw the construction of a new family home set within the flood plains of a river. This flood risk meant that the home had to be raised slightly to keep the property at a good height above the floor risk water level. This raised design also provides the homeowners with impressive views of the surrounding landscape.

The award winner will be announced in September 2019.
